The fruit of mystery: humility
Mary replied to the Angel: “Behold the handmaid of the Lord” (Lk 1:38).
“In God’s eyes, we are only what we are: no more, no less. We must be concerned only with pleasing him. All our merit is to cooperate with grace.”
Lord, through Mary, awaken in the hearts of young people the desire to follow you with confidence on the path to the priesthood, marriage or the consecrated life.
Fruit of the mystery: love of neighbor
Elizabeth exclaimed, “Blessed is she who believed” (Lk 1:45).

The Angel of the Lord said to the shepherds: “You will find a newborn child lying in a manger” (Lk 2:12).

Lord, through Mary, teach us to welcome the poor and serve them with joy.
The fruit of mystery: the search for God in all things
Jesus replied to his parents: “Didn’t you know that I must go to my Father?” (Lk 2:49).
“If we want to show God that we love him, we have to do his holy will. The surest way to know God’s will is to pray to our good Mother.”
Lord, through Mary, help all those who have to make important decisions to put God first.
Fruit of the mystery: obedience and purity
“Simeon received the Child Jesus in his arms and blessed God” (Lk 2:28).

A voice from heaven said: “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased” (Mt 3:17).

Mary said to the servants: “Do whatever he tells you” (Jn 2:5).

Lord, through Mary, foster in our hearts love and trust in the Church, our Mother.

Jesus said: “The Kingdom of God is at hand: turn and believe in the Gospel” (Mk 1:15).
“Our Lord, who is truth itself, makes no less of his Word than of his Body… It is quite impossible to love God and please him without being nourished by this divine Word.”
Lord, through Mary, sanctify priests in their priesthood, so that they may be true icons of your Son.
The fruit of mystery: the grace of an inner life

Lord, through Mary, foster in the hearts of missionaries the desire to make you known throughout the world.
Fruit of the mystery: faith
Jesus answered Martha: “I am the resurrection and the life” (Jn 11:25).
“Faith can do anything. My God, give us faith and we will love you with all our hearts.”
Lord, through Mary, guide the Holy Father to proclaim unceasingly that you are the only Savior who leads us to the Father.
The fruit of mystery: the desire for heaven
“As Jesus blessed his disciples, he was taken up into heaven” (Lk 24:51).
“See, my children, we must reflect that we have a soul to save and an eternity awaiting us.”
Lord, through Mary, pour your grace into our hearts, so that the hope of eternal life may dwell in us every day.
Fruit of the mystery: the coming of the Holy Spirit into our hearts
Jesus said to the disciples: “Receive the Holy Spirit” (Jn 20:22).
“The Holy Spirit is like a gardener who works our soul… All we have to do is say ‘yes’ and let ourselves be led.”
Lord, through Mary, help Christians to fully welcome the Holy Spirit and work for the unity of the Church.
Fruit of the mystery: the grace of a good death
Jesus prayed: “Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am” (Jn 17:24).
“In heaven, our hearts will be so lost, drowned in the happiness of loving God, that we will care neither for ourselves nor for others, but for God alone.”
Lord, through Mary, open the gates of your Kingdom to all our deceased brothers and sisters.
Fruit of the mystery: greater devotion to Mary
“The sun surrounds her, the moon is under her feet and twelve stars crown her head” (Rev 12:1).
“The heart of this good Mother is nothing but love and mercy; she desires only to see us happy. All we have to do is turn to her and we will be granted our wish…”.
