I love you, O my God, and I desire heaven only to have the happiness of loving you perfectly.<\/p>\n

I love you, O my God, and I dread hell only because there will never be the sweet consolation of loving you.<\/p>\n

O my God, if my tongue can’t say all the time that I love you, at least I want my heart to repeat it as many times as I breathe.<\/p>\n

Ah! Give me the grace to suffer while loving you, to love you while suffering, and to die one day loving you and feeling that I love you.<\/p>\n

Lord Jesus, with Saint Jean-Marie Vianney, we entrust to you: all the priests we know, those we have met, those who have helped us, those you give us today as fathers.<\/p>\n

You have called each one by name; for each one, we praise and beseech You: keep them faithful to Your name; You who have consecrated them to be our shepherds in Your name, give them strength, confidence and joy to accomplish their mission.<\/p>\n

May the Eucharist they celebrate nourish them and give them the courage to offer themselves with You for the sheep that we are; may they be immersed in Your heart of Mercy, so that they may always be witnesses to Your forgiveness; may they be true adorers of the Father, so that they may teach us the true path to holiness.<\/p>\n

Father, with them we offer ourselves to Christ for the Church: may she be missionary in the breath of your Spirit; simply teach us to love them, to respect them and to receive them as a gift from your hand, so that together we may accomplish more of your work for the salvation of all. Saint Cur\u00e9 d’Ars, you made your life an undivided offering to God for the service of mankind; may the Holy Spirit, through your intercession, lead us today to respond, without fail, to our personal vocation.<\/p>\n

You were an assiduous worshipper of Christ in the tabernacle. Teach us to approach the Eucharist with faith and respect, to taste its silent presence in the Blessed Sacrament.<\/p>\n

You’ve been a friend to sinners. You told them: “Your faults are like a grain of sand compared to the great mountain of God’s mercy”. Untie the bonds of fear that sometimes hold us back from God’s forgiveness; increase our repentance for our faults. Show us the true face of the Father who tirelessly awaits the return of the prodigal son.<\/p>\n

You were the support of the poor: “My secret is very simple, it’s to give everything and keep nothing”. Teach us to share with those in need; set us free from money and all false riches.<\/p>\n

You were a loving son of the Virgin Mary, “your oldest affection”. Teach us to turn to her with the simplicity and confidence of a child.<\/p>\n

You have become the exemplary witness of the Cur\u00e9s of the universe. May your pastoral charity lead pastors to seek closeness to all, regardless of who they are; give them love for the Church, apostolic drive and solidity in times of trial.<\/p>\n

Inspire young people with the greatness of priestly ministry and the joy of responding to the call of the Good Shepherd.<\/p>\n

Saint Cur\u00e9 d’Ars, be our intercessor before God. Obtain for us what we ask of you (specify a particular request here), you humble and faithful shepherd, tireless in your service to God and man. Amen.<\/p>\n

Lord Jesus, Guide and Shepherd of your people, you raised up in your Church Saint Jean-Marie Vianney, Cur\u00e9 d’Ars. Bless us for the holiness of his life and the admirable fruitfulness of his ministry. With humble perseverance and patience, he overcame every obstacle on the path to the priesthood. As a priest, he drew the ardor of his pastoral charity and the dynamism of his apostolic zeal from the celebration of the Eucharist and silent adoration.<\/p>\n

Through his intercession,<\/p>\n

Touch the hearts of young people; may they find in the example of his life the impetus to follow in your footsteps, with the same courage, without looking back. Renew the hearts of priests; let them cling to you fervently and deeply. May they build community unity on the Eucharist and forgiveness, in mutual love. Strengthen Christian families; may they support those of their children whom you have called.<\/p>\n

Lord, you are not afraid to use your saints to accomplish your wonders.<\/p>\n

You know how much the holy Cur\u00e9 d’Ars loved to entrust his intentions to Saint Philomena; she’s the sign of purity, a child with a simple heart. She’s a sign of strength, a martyr invincible by your power.<\/p>\n

In turn, relying on their intercession, we ask you for a heart that is simple, pure and strong. And since you never refuse to answer a prayer made in faith, we have come to hand over, entrust and abandon this intention to you…<\/p>\n

In faith, we know that you accept our prayer, and we let you answer it according to your will.<\/p>\n
