Pilgrims, welcome to the Ars Sanctuary!

The Sanctuary

Our sanctuary, marked by Saint Jean-Marie Vianney, his life witness and his message, welcomes you for a spiritual pause. It offers you the opportunity to take time out for silence, prayer, meetings, visits…

First and foremost, it’s a place for meeting God in prayer, and listening to his Word at Mass and other services. It is also a place of mercy, the most beautiful sign of which is the sacrament of forgiveness.

It’s also a meeting place for the different communities that live in Ars, for the priests who serve the shrine, for volunteers and committed lay people…. They are all are happy to welcome you and accompany you throughout your stay!

The grace of Ars really does exist: we receive some very beautiful testimonies. We’d love to hear about yours….
